SHIPPER

Shippers are responsible for shipping all parcels and freight shipments utilizing FedEx Ship Manager, UPS World Ship, Amazon, Walmart. LTL Portals and Ship Station. Will be required to pick, pack and ship special orders and pack and ship regular customer orders. Will monitor for shipping related problems to achieve on time delivery requirements and take immediate action to correct and escalated to the management staff for resolution communication. This position’s hours are from M-F 8a – 4:30p with possibility of overtime as required; with 2 10-minute paid breaks and half hour unpaid lunch.

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

• Accurately creates shipping labels and handle shipping information in portals
• Ensures product is shipped in a cost-effective manner through rate quotes 
• Keeps organized shipping records, including BOL, UPS end of day documents, and will call end of day documents.
• Ensures all customs documents are accurate and provided on all shipments
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to facilitate shipping functions
• Ensuring all packed orders are processed in a timely manner
• Utilize Scanners and the Warehouse Management System
• Use basic problem-solving skills to ensure stable operation of the shipping area
• Observe, maintain, coordinate and complete standard work
• Assisting other areas when needed
